I recommend following their blog. I do and glean a tremendous amount of info from it - for my blog and for writing, in general. They often have terrific marketing tips, too, which are always welcome!
I knew a guy named George who couldn’t figure out why people couldn’t understand the benefits of his software. He had feature and benefit bullet points but they just weren’t sinking in. One day George changed his tactics completely. He wrote up a one-paragraph story about how one of his customers saved $125k by using his software. After that, sales were a lot easier.
I think story telling is such a great technique that can help in any facet of life. I work as a business trainer and facilitator, but also have an offbeat fiction blog, where I post daily 1000+ word fiction shorts: http://jamesbent.com/bog
